FRIEZE WILL ONCE AGAIN DESCEND ON L.A.

Frieze 2023 will once again descend on LA from February 16-19.  This world renowned art fair will feature more than 120 galleries from 22 countries around the world, debuting in the new location of the Baker Hanger at Santa Monica Airport. The fair will happen over multiple sites across the airfield and is once again designed by Kulapat Yantrasast’s WHY studio.  The fair’s footprint will be larger too, with 30% more exhibition space across the southeast corner of the airport. That includes the exhibition tent, again designed by Kulapat Yantrasast’s Why Architecture, the airport’s Barker Hangar and outdoor areas around the airfield.

The new location of the fair will allow for an expanded footprint and a wider selection of galleries and collaborations with non-profit organizations, as well as a series of new ambitious activations, and pop-ups from some of Los Angeles' most beloved restaurants.
